The Cape Oyster Experience

• The Experience is approximately 90 minutes and includes an immersive introduction to oysters, clams, and shellfishing on Cape Cod. Every participant will go home with a full belly and all the skills you'll need to shuck like a pro. 

• Hunt for wild shellfish. This immersive experience will take you right into the waters of Cape Cod to experience and learn first hand about shellfishing and why this area is so famous for producing the best oysters in the world. (NOTE: Conditions and regulations may prohibit shellfish harvesting at certain times)

• Learn to shuck. Everyone loves learning a new skill. Whether you’re a first timer or a shucking-pro. We’ll all gather around after our oyster hunt to shuck and eat fresh oysters!

• Enjoy the worlds greatest oysters. Fresh from the source. We’ll bring the days freshest haul of oysters from local oyster farmers. You'll be able to taste what makes Wellfleet oysters the best there is!

• No experience necessary. We love sharing our passion for oysters and shellfishing with everyone - whether you're a shucking pro or an oyster novice

Everything you need to explore, enjoy, and learn about shellfishing:

• Shellfishing equipment, protective gloves, waterproof waders and water shoes.
• Dry pouches to keep your keys/phone dry. 
• Plenty of fresh oysters straight from local oyster farmers for you to shuck and eat. We think these are the best oysters around. And they're even better when you're enjoying them fresh from the source. 

All you need to bring is an appetite for adventure. 

And your sunscreen. We'll handle the rest. 

Our experiences start at Hemenway Landing in Eastham on the Outer Cape.  It's a real gem. 

All participants will need to sign a waiver upon arrival.
